From the first time I encountered Franciscans and learned about St. Francis -- raised to take full advantage of a budding capitalist economy, living with a passion for greatness, to serve his people and his God, struggling all the way to find where he belonged, and even dying with enthusiasm. Thus, I started this blog some years back mostly as a personal thing, though hoping to gain the fellowship of a few random passersby along the way. It fell the back burner these last couple years, but I enjoy having a place to pour out my thoughts where someone might read them, even if nobody does :)
I found your blog via a comment on offthewire. I agree totally about sloth! Ideas keep pouring out of me into a rusty bucket full of holes. If only I'd just fix up my bucket.
